Vintage African Round Stool
A lovely little stool used in the hut homes in Nigeria. These lovely stools would have been used for family gatherings, meetings, ceremonies and to sit on to cook.
Each one is made from solid hardwood and is carved from a single tree trunk. They were used indoors and out.
Utterly charming each one of this stools is antique.
The wood is a mid to pale tone and is hand carved and uniquely rustic and imperfect.
For a modern day home, these stunning heritage pieces make a great stand for plants or treasured items allowing you to create height in your displays on a shelf, console or coffee table. They would also make a lovely stool of course.
